Transforming All The Feels Into A Tangible Experience

As part of Marriott Hotels’ global rebrand, the goal wasn’t just to tell a new story—it was to help people feel it. So we created the Art of Innovation Wall, an immersive, emotion-first installation that guides users through the mental and emotional arc of a guest’s stay at a renovated Marriott property.

The wall was structured around four core emotional states: relaxation, inspiration, change, and accomplishment—each representing a key moment in the guest journey. We translated each into a distinct multi-sensory vignette using lighting, motion, texture, sound, and projected visuals. As guests moved through the installation, they didn’t just observe the brand—they experienced it in real time.

The wall debuted as a hero moment within Marriott’s Innovation Lab and at key brand and partner events, offering a tactile expression of the brand’s repositioning: classic hospitality reimagined through modern design, purposeful technology, and personal transformation.

More than just a wow-factor installation, the Art of Innovation Wall became a storytelling tool—bridging strategy and emotion, and giving internal stakeholders, media, and guests a visceral way to understand Marriott’s evolution.

Because when your brand is about elevating the stay, the journey should begin before check-in.
