Over two decades, Alexander’s roles have constantly been evolving with how the advertising industry embraces digital. His expertise has been adapting, innovating and leveraging technology for brands, and that work has received the highest awards and is part of the permanent collection at the Smithsonian. Prior roles included Creative Technology Officer for DDB North America where he was responsible for providing solutions and leadership for technology enabled non-ad-like-objects; Executive Creative Director at We Are Unlimited, working on creative media innovation exclusively for McDonald’s; Head of Creative Technology at Framestore, the internationally acclaimed, Academy Award-winning VFX company; Technology Experience Lead at the innovation consultancy Co:Collective, working on Macy’s and Nissan; Director of Technology at IPG Mediabrands Media Lab, where he was the lead on all innovation technology in the Lab demo showroom; and early-stage start-up mentor for R/GA + NEW INC’s accelerator programs.
