After a pandemic-driven period of isolation, high turnover, and a complete leadership transition, mental health innovator Mindstrong needed a cultural reboot. The mission? Reconnect employees to the company, the work, and each other.

We led programming and experience design for Mindstrong Connect!, a three-day all-staff summit in Austin, TX. With 100+ attendees across in-person and Zoom formats, the event aimed to humanize the company’s evolving purpose—and each other. From the airport welcome to the final goodbye, we built touchpoints that helped employees feel seen, safe, and inspired.

Highlights included two dynamic keynote speakers, group workshops rooted in Mindstrong’s values, improv training for creative communication, a karaoke contest to loosen the room, and three nights of offsite bonding. Every element was crafted to foster authentic connection—1:1, team-to-team, and with the company’s member-first mission.

Post-event surveys proved the emotional ROI:

• 91% were very or extremely satisfied with content

• 95% reported feeling deeply connected to the company and their role (up from 55% pre-event)

Mindstrong Connect! helped spark a new chapter in the company’s story—one powered by empathy, alignment, and intentional design.
